Diigo is a wonderful way for parents and teachers to collaborate on their child's education.  It is a ay for teachers to ease technology into the classroom, and the child's home.  Diigo could e used for extra practice, exploring a new topic, research and a million and one other things.  Diigo is all about what sites the teacher has bookmarked.  If the teacher is activly searching for links that will help the children then Diigo will be a wonderful tool for the children to use.

Blogs of any kind could be a useful tool in the classroom, if used correctly.  Blogs could be used as an online science journal that allows the students to track the process of their experiments.  Or it could be used as an English journal where the students write their predictions and reactions to the story they just read for homework.  This is my personal blog that follows different ways to use technology in the classroom.
